Above Border for Bogie
It was business as usual for David & Kevin as they took a convincing win on the Brick & Steel Border Counties Rally.
Bogie Doubles Up
David Bogie & Kevin Rae have got off to a flying start by winning the opening rounds of the 2011 Scottish & British Rally Championships. He's now torn between which championship to fully comit, hopefully he'll manage both.
IRC - FX-Pro Cyprus Rally
Really enjoyed the final round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge with Qatars Nasser Al-Attiyah and co-driver Giovanni Bernacchini from Italy taking outright victory after a close battle with Czech Martin Prokop also in a Ford Fiesta S2000.
Prokop was leading by 12.1 seconds after friday evenings final run through the superspecial stage in the port of Limassol.
Saturday mornings 2nd stage was to prove decisive when Prokops Fiesta broke a front driveshaft, this handed the lead to Al-Attiyah with Lebanon's Roger Feghali driving a Skoda Fabia S2000 now in second place & clearly wringing the neck out of his rally car to stay in front of the recovering Prokop.
After 14 spectacular stages this was how the finish order remained.
British entrant Harry Hunt finished the rally with a steady run in his Ford Fiesta & secured the 2010 IRC 2WD Cup, well done Harry & Seb.

Love Cyprus Golden Special Stage Rally
Andreas Mikkelsen & Ola Floene made up for a dissapointing first day exit on the IRC FX-Pro Cyprus Rally by winning the inaugural Love Cyprus GoldenSpecial Stage Rally which was decided by 2 runs over the same stage with mixed surfaces of asphalt & gravel. This was a thrilling battle with big prize money at stake for the drivers who took up the challenge & risked all or nothing over the demanding stages.
